Caught this going through my tutorials to see if any of them needed to be updated. I did one on more photorealisic lightning that I figure is time to update a little bit, and saw this in the 'more like this' box. Great tutorial. Covers a few things I don't really think of when I do it
Thanks for this informative tutorial! I have one question though. I know how to set a layer to overlay, but how do I set a brush to overlay? Is that option only available in later Photoshop versions? I have Photoshop 5.5, so it's pretty old...
Hi! Oh my! Hm you're missing out on a lot.. I'm using CS2 (since cs5 is out) and it's a bit outdated already.. that brush setting might not be there yet in 5.5... I suggest you get a newer photoshop! (in photoshop cs2, the brush setting i specified is up beside the opacity & flow sliders)
Hmm, I guess you're right. I didn't know that cs2 was already so outdated though. Well, I know my school computers have cs2 or cs4 installed, so I guess I should use them to get a little more used to the newer interface and options. Thanks!
