Nüwa (Traditional Chinese: 女媧; Simplified Chinese: 女娲; Pinyin: nǚwā, also Nü Gua or Nügua) seen in various myths & depictions, she is seen as the Creator; the repairer (re. the broken pillar holding up the heavens). She is said to have molded the original chinese peoples from earth, depicted as a swordswoman, sister goddess of FuXi; The Snake Goddess; divider of heaven & earth, and lots more.

I really did want to draw her serpent-like bottom half, but i had to put focus on her face..

the composition is utterly awesome! :worship:

the woman in your artwork reminds me of Zhang Ziyi's roles in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Really nice. :D I love those clawed hands. Well, hand. And is that blood I see? :O

See, honey? You play with swords, you cut yourself. Fact for fact. Let's hope she learned her lesson.
